The Ideas People was founded by Clare Griffiths.
Clare has been working as a business support practitioner, enterprise educator/university lecturer and business development manager for the last 12 years, working with both individuals and businesses ranging from choreographers to printing companies, and everything in between.
She is passionate about helping others to develop their ideas and grow their ventures, and in 2009 she was awarded National Enterprise Champion for her work by the National Centre for Entrepreneurship in Education and Enterprise Educators UK. More recently, in 2013, she was awarded an Excellence in Facilitating Learning Award by the University of Brighton.
Clare is a published author, and her first book, My StartUp Plan, is a practical, accessible tool designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs analyse their ideas and put pen to paper. Her e-book is published by Harriman House, and can be purchased from the Harriman House website, as well as all good online bookstores.
Clare speaks Spanish and French, and loves cooking whilst listening to Nina Simone. Having lived in Mexico for two years, she is addicted to Mexican food – especially Mexican street tacos! She enjoys playing the cello, piano and djembe (although is admittedly rather rusty!), and loves walking along the South Downs with her dogs, Lola and Coco.
Clare is Director of The Ideas People and is lead facilitator for our training courses. She is also Editor of The Crowd ’Zine.
